Because it should've been much much sooner!! Seriously, what was Dad thinking letting Mom cut our hair... of course he probably didn't have much choice!!! Check out Jodi's. And where is the GOLDEN TURTLENECK in this picture? Maybe the sleeves are what are really on Debbie's legs and NOT white knee-hi's. I bet.
The blogs have been great still.. I laugh so much and then I read them again and laugh some more. Who knows, maybe some day I will have a new computer and I can add pictures of my CHILDREN because I know thats what you all want. You better, because I have pictures of all of yours !!! Oh yeah, and I can put a picture of Brent up too. LOL!! Like that one Debbie and Joda??

I remeber once in 9th grade, mom decided I needed a "trim". Monday morning came and I actually almost skipped school. She jacked it up sooo bad. We I was in English class and we were reading sentences out of a book. I kid you not, the girl in front of me, Ginnie< read the following sentnece from the book, "The boy had his hair trimmed over the weekend." After reading this she laughed. I turned red. The rest is history, my emotional scars have mostley healed and I never cut my kid's hair.
Oh my gosh that is hilarious, because one night I did cut my hair and Mom let me stay home the following Monday. Ok, it was Saturday night, Jimmie was at the Freedom House. On Saturday afternoon before we went to see Jimmie (Mom, Richard, me, Ronnie and Joda) I decided I was going to cut my hair into a "mullet" style, which was IN back then. Well long story short, I #@$%ed it up. Mom actually let me stay home on Monday so I could go get my hair cut and fix it. Oh my gosh, it had to be cut SHORT in order to fix what I started. HEE HEE HEE. Ok, so anyway, we went to see Jimmie -- I was a Sophomore and had my "whooo whooo" Letter Jacket on (Dave this was during your boot camp) thinking I was going to impress somebody.. (at Freedom House??!!) Yeah, well somebody snapped a picture that night of me and Jodi (I have it somewhere) and OOOHHH MYYY....eeww!! I have never touched my own hair since. Although, Bruno and Brent have some horror stories since I got ahold of razors, scissors, etc.
Love Ya!!
You are spoiled Jeanie, cuz I never got to stay home when mom cut my hair. my bangs were up to my hairline. no wonder the boys I liked looked at me weird.
