The Rainbow Bridge

There is a bridge connecting Heaven and Earth. It is called the Rainbow Bridge because of its many colors. Just this side of the Rainbow Bridge there is a land of meadows, hills and valleys with lush green grass. There is always food and water and warm spring weather. The old and frail animals are YOUNG again. Those who were maimed are made WHOLE again. They play all day with one another.

There is only one person missing. They are not with their special person (people) who loved them on Earth. So, they run and play until the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks up!! And this one eagerly runs from the group!

You have been seen, and when you and your special friend meet, you take them in your arms and embrace. Your face is kissed again and again and again. Once more you look into the adoring eyes of your trusting pet.

Then you cross the Rainbow Bridge together, never again to be separated....

Ant Lynne sent that to me after Sofie died. I miss my Sweet Wilma and my Sweet Sofie. Thank God they are together now.

C'MON MINNESOTA!! What the hell? Am I really reading that Al Franken just might beat Norm Coleman for Senator?? If Al Franken wins I vow to never step in the state of Minnesota again! ('cept for funerals). MAN! C'mon.

I hate Cars

I hate my cars. i have crappy cars and they don't run. I have spent 2 month and $500.00 in an attempt to fix Jessy's '02 Hyundai. I stripped it to the core, replaces parts, smashed my thumb, (I'd post a pic but it looks much worse than Brandi's wrist) put the thing back together again only to have it run like crap, oh and I bought a $1500.00 car to get us through the rough time of not having the car only to have that car break down. That car has sat in front of my house longer than it ran. I am calling the good will and asking them to haul both of them away. Anyway, after reading Jodi's story of her travels to Ft. Jackson with Mom and Don I still feel pretty fortunate.

My wrist with no Splint

I went to the doctor the other day and got my splint taken off and my stitches taken out. Below is a picture of my wrist with the stitches in. You can see a white bandage type of thing, that is covering the 2 pins that are in my wrist. I got a blue cast on, it will come off and the pins will come out Dec 4Th, that is if the healing goes well.
